I'd agree with suj, standard springs = non cup ones, with the non cup shocks is the best option, would also recommend a soft sidewall tires like the uniroyal rainexpert, had yokohama's and these were super stiff by themselves, could easily convince a chap I had changed the springs :) original...

where's the leak? I had some water in the front footwell, turned out the drain fell out of the little rubber gromit that leads it through the wheelarch so the water drained down into the cabin

apart from them being not road legal, they are probably going to do fine, heard good things about the philips and osram, even thought about getting them for my wife's mito, they should work fine, seen a test with an old volvo headlight, did good...

Had Conti SC3's in the previous 197, then some horrid yoko's, super stiff sidewall and not much grip tbh, car was pulling all the time, then conti SC5, not bad, but just felt softer in the sidewall even than the sc3, the second 197 currently running Mich PS4 and must say, definitely the best...

@Marsch - Seriously ? I know there is no RS now, just the RS Line but no RS ever? I find this hard to believe... Renault Sport is a brand, currently having just one model, and regardless of the criticism the mk4 Clio RS received it did sell good, so would be pretty dumb not to follow on this...

Why would you think no real RS ?

this might be just the RS Line, even so guess the proper RS wont be looking any worse than this... its a nice interior for a small renault, nice to see the bose soundsystem upgrade available and the black rooflining!
