If I didn't plan on tracking my 200 I'd switch to 'full fat' dampers and have custom springs made with 'full fat' spring rates but 30mm lower. My old 197 was brilliant on back roads on standard suspension but just sat too high for me. My 200 on cup suspension is very nearly undrivable on back...

Cup suspension is horrendous on anything other than flat roads. I can't get my coilovers on quickly enough.

I have Rainsport 5's on my 200, really impressed. I also have Bridgestone Potenza S001 on my golf gtd, love them but they are a bit soft so need replacing every 10k or so (fronts).

Are you allowed to fit a sports cat? If so that would be a good compromise.
