Any exhaust mods will cause a flat-spot... Remapping is really the only way to eliminate the flat-spot, although it doesn't remove it completely. If you went for the gravity/toyosports catback exhaust, it's bolt-on from the manifold backwards. This eliminates the post-cat and middle box.

From recent experience; You need to take off the indicator first, it should just "pinch" out. I can't remember how mine came out but it wasn't too much hassle, just remember the lenses do not come off, it should come out as a whole unit and then bulb twists something like 90 degrees and pulls...

Mine did this but it was in the higher rev range - turned out after a new set of (genuine) coils and plugs it was golden again. I can almost guarantee your coils/plugs aren't fresh. Start with the basics and go from there!

Cheers @suj - If I removed the battery and housing I can assume this would provide plenty of access to get it replaced. Mine isn't specifically showing any signs of failure but I'm just looking to do some preventative maintenance!

@Foxspeed is it the stat or the housing? I think I have a super slow coolant leak out the housing but not sure if the housings normally fail or is it's the gasket? Wondering if this could be the same for @Helpimonfire too?
