When done right, like yours ....in my eyes it’s not ‘just’ a track car anymore . It’s also a really desirable car / object to look at . I’d love to go all out on mine ...a minty mint track build .

Up there with one of the best drivers cars around in my opinion....looks awesome . Porsche’s are one of the only car manufacturers that suit every occasion , be it out for a blast , admiring looks , weekends away with the wife . :thumb:

Only bought it around 2 months ago .... done a full suspension / brake overhaul on it . Already had exhaust / front mount / injectors , 290 bhp . He works for me and also is a semi professional paint Detailer . He’s paint corrected / ceramic coated around 4 of my cars . Porsche is being done...

Bit surprised that the Bilstein’s don’t come with dust covers for the shocks ... do you re-use the originals ?

Yep ... although the eibachs would have suited my needs ... we all know that a matched set of springs and dampers are the way to go .

Booked in with rentech on the 25th to get it all fitted . Just waiting on the new top mounts . Hopefully book castle Combe on the 2nd August.

Had a great weekend away with a load of friends ..... camping with 10 kids ( all under 7!) and only 6 adults! Absolutely knackered but came home to a well earned treat :blush:

Mine isn’t polybushed but ‘rated’ Clio is and made the same noise as mine . Presumed his noise was due to the harder bushes but then hearing it on mine ...which to my knowledge is standard .

Well I’ve ordered some new front top mounts ... even if it’s not that it gave me the excuse to buy them :tearsofjoy: I also noticed that ‘rated ‘ car did the weird noise from the rear . I presumed it was something to do with being polybushed . But obviously not

Top front struts .. as in top mounts ? Also jacked the rear up and rear brakes aren’t binding at all . Not the exhaust or heat shield ... not that sort of noise . I did stick a cloth in between the rear diffuser and heat shield to rule that out . The rear noise is there when only fully...

Hi all .... just wondering if anyone can shed some light on some very odd noises I’m getting . First one is a very slight knock from the front when pulling away sometimes . I can feel it through the steering wheel . Jacked the car up and doesn’t seem to be any play at all in the wheel front...

Then this box of goodies arrived for the Clio :sunglasses:

Then I spent today from 7-2:30 giving the family bus a good clay /DA polish / megs sealant ... pretty impressed with the megs ceramic sealant . Very easy to use , cheap .. i guess time will tell if it lasts !

Spent yesterday evening giving the Clio a good clean . Comes up lovely and haven’t done any DA work yet .
