Had the air con re-gassed on 17th July, tried it in the car park and it seemed to work although wasn't very cold...thought this was normal so didnt say anything. Cars in the garage (again) with Renault and they are saying the air con is empty, surely if it was a leak they would have noticed...

You'd have to be really dim, look at the money you'd loose. Plus they are the same car, why on earth would you have two of them? Based on my experience with the reliability so far, my next car will NOT be a Renault.

its a tell tale sign of retro-fitting. If the car came with the cup spoiler, its fine. If Jonny Clio who bought the car fitted it himself, its not fine. Weird :F

My next car has to have air con that works, a wheel bearing that isnt broken, a wheel arch lining that isnt broken, a door seal that doesnt fall off after 2 months, stalk controls that work, a second gear that you can get into when driving fast, an engine where theres no flat spot, a spoiler...

Wish i hadnt said anything now...looks like mine isnt kicking out cold air (at all). Thats another thing to add to the list for next Wednesdays dealership visit. Ive read some horror storys after trawling the forums here...hopefully ill be ok. I took the fuse case off and the "manual air con"...

Other than sh*t, how do people find their air con gets on? My 197 cup is actually warmer when its turned on..best with the windows down. It was topped up 2 weeks ago.

Just one question...why do some 197s and 200s have the "C L I O" letters below the renault logo and some don't? Is there a method to it? My 197 cup only has the Renault diamond and in the bottom right...the usual Renault Sport badge..thats it..no C L I O.

haha good on you mate! I've only ever (very) briefly touched 100mph in mine, never tried to go faster to be honest. Just how fast will the little clio actually go by the way? About the VXRs, flame me by all means but Vauxhall havent made a good car since the Calibra in my view, these new ones...

thats the worst thing ive ever seen. You might aswell pay one of the mods on here to delete your account, its the same principle. You paying for some inconvenience, your giving money for something that makes your life worse than it already is. Some people are plain crazy.
