Well a quick update, its now booked for a local garage on 6th May (same as Tom on this forum whos just had his done there). £350 which is based on a brand called "Gates", as far as i have read on this forum, Gates are one of the best. Renault also have 3 approved cambelt suppliers..one being...

Good Morning All, Having read a few rather old threads on cambelts, im looking at going down the "buy parts myself" route. What's the latest with regards to doing this, do we have any site sellers etc who can recommend/quote? I'm in the Yorkshire area so will likely give the parts (and car)...

Agree completely. Carbon AND Luxury is such a horrible combo, either have one or the other. Prefer the little racing blue number in the background ;-)

for me it would make no difference if it came with a free Cameron Diaz. When something looks that horrid from the outside, its game over. Couldn't care what it drove like. Thankfully though my opinion doesn't matter, as long as your happy with it!

yeah mate i remember actually on Bradford road. Theres a few 197s around us, i've seen a red one plodding about and a black one once lots, that guy must go through a lot of fuel as hes always caning it everywhere.

the best thing about the 350z is the engine, also the worst thing about the 350z...is the engine. That lump doesn't come cheap on tax so i skipped for the Clio. They do look immense though, really nice cars, especially with the Nismo spoiler thingy :)

Thats pure w*nk material, both look amazing. When i bought my Clio, it was a toss-up with that and a 350. Is that a 350 GT4 edition? Those tend to be yellow too.

Racing Blue could have been me, was in Bradford. Silver one...i drive past a silver 197 a few times a week after work, billy basic with no cup spoiler or anything? Red 197....works in Brighouse i believe although may be a few ofcourse :D
