getting really annoyed with this now every thing is in and done it just wouldn't run so trip to stes (sc auto electrics) 340 mile round trip! got it running on another ecu when it started I was well chuffed but then wouldn't rev above 3k with both map sensors plugged in ste was messing about...
megane engine and box it turns over for a few seconds wants to start then flashes up with brakeing fault and will no longer turn over until turned off and on any one else had this? could it be I haven't got a neutral signal as im using clio loom which the plug only has 2 wires and megane has 3???
seen this car in the flesh today and its a very nice car! and even got the chance to go in it and loved it what a car mate I cant wait to get mine done now (going in yours has made me like a kid at xmas again) I wouldn't sell it I had more fun driving that than I did driving the sti home!
can anyone help? also I don't have a air filter or pipe yet I think im going to buy the make your own induction kit but does the vacuam thing still go into the induction pipe if not where does it go?
Yes it's megane pipe and so is the pipes that go to the bulkhead with water pump on it and other rad pipe is also megane only different pipe you will need is pipes for header tank as Clio ones ain't long enough
first question is the oil cooler pipes right as doesn't seem like its going to flow ie the clio goes into one rad pipe then out on the other rad pipe so in theory should flow around?
the 2 vacuam pipes coming of old clio engine where do they go on megane engine

got the clio engine out yesterday and got the megane engine built up and got it in today so now just to plum/pipe it all up have a few issues with a few pipes which hopefully some of you guys can help out with, sent my ecu to rs tuning today to get the clio imobilizer stuff put on megane ecu so...
ive just left the megane mount on gearbox and used the clio top mount as megane one doesn't fit why does the gearbox mount need to be changed is there some thing im missing?
selling an evo with no history will be hard work as they need serviceing every 4.5k I loved my mr fq 340 but costs to much to maintain and standard evos are boring they need to be 400/400 to be good fun
