When you say crash, is like a scraping noise? I've noticed mine making a noise occasionally when going over speed bumps but there's nothing hanging down that could scrape..

My focus st did this and so does my 200t.

It's a shame you only hear about the ones with issues. There's an AMD dealer down by me that will map it so I am tempted. 10 hour round trip to leeds for a remap is just too much time

Everything I read just seems to mention overheating of the box/clutch. Kind of puts me off a bit. We'll see.

It's the lazyness of the ST. You could boot it in 6th at 70 and it would just go. I am enjoying the cup chassis though that's for sure.

Was that up in leeds or the rs tuner you can get online?

If I could afford an exhaust I'd probably go down that route, my missus would bury me if I did! I can justify a 60 quid mod lol. I'm still unsure on remaps. I miss the grunt of my ST but I'm worried about the gearbox.

Would be interesting to see if you have any issues with the gearbox. I've come from an mp260 focus st so do miss a bit of the grunt lol.

Lovely car. The gearbox definitely takes some getting used to but I love it now.
