its defo a megane box u can tell the difference straight away on the motorway, especially revs wise, quieter and smoother !

had a megane gearbox put in, so everythings fine (well with the gearbox)

Hi, i had to have a new gearbox just before christmas, took the car to tameside transmissions n they put a megane gearbox in mine !!

The report from the AA says; "No dash lights on or headlights, total loss off electrical circuits. Traced fault to main fuse link at battery, by-pass fuse and found car to be stuck in 5th or 6th gear but selected all other gears. Requires gearbox removal to investigate".

It was the AA who said what was wrong with it. It's gone to Tameside transmissions today so he's gonna have a look n then then tell me what's what !!

yes i did read that, im in Ashton under lyne, so its either a lot more expensive here or there trying to rip me off lol !

Hi all,well made it home no problem,everything seemed to be back to normal and went into gear fine,gonna get the car booked in somewhere though as obviously something wasnt right !!

No not really when I start it up it doesn't make a noise if I put it in gear then take it out it makes a rumbling noise
