The problem with changing the brake fluid after 4 years is that the humidity in the brake fluid is very high, and with standard brake fluids it's ok, as they try to raise the wet boiling point to the maximum. But when you put some racing brake fluid, they are more prone to catch more water and...

And also be careful with brake fluid, as with time it catches water and loses his properties. A change of fluid once every two years would be perfect. Not too expensive and sure it makes the brakes feel better.

KW's are the best compromise between track and street. There are better suspensions for the circuit out there, but it would be undrivable on the road. Lowering the car doesn't mean that is going to go through corners faster, as the suspension geometry gets changed and is no mre in the range...

I wouldn't think about power gains from an exhaust in a 197, more about losing weight. Take in account that cup racers, with intake, exhaust and a different ECU only make 5 more horsepower than STD (I only know the peak figure, haven't compared the two powerband together) so it's not for me...

Are you sure that the model AP sells works for the CRS? As I don't really know it. I think it's fro standard cars, not the Sport. You should ask before enquiring. Hopefully I would get a set of broken H&R's and I would get them revalved to my specs, I only like to play that way. Cheers

Do you have firefox, IE, google chrome or any other kind of browser? I know Firefox has this as default (at least I had it) but now I'm using IE and it doesn't have that, and I don't know if you can install any kind of add-on for that. Cheers

From what I see in the picture, R3 suspension geometry is not the same as the normal clio? The other day I took my wheels out and it doesn't look like that. Other that that, Ohlins would be the way to go ;)

You can actually pain the centre console, it still would be cheaper still than the 205 pounds from renault. If you put the projector lights (original please), would look very mean, nice Ktec spoiler ;)

Maybe (and I say maybe because i don't know yet), i would be able to put the car on a rolling road with the old and new TB in the next weeks. I could be able to "rent" a 64mm TB and figure out if it's any good or not. Stay tuned ;)

It depends if it's a 197 or a 200. In the 197 is only the suspension, 30% stiffer shocks and 7mm lower. In the 200 changes suspension (even stiffer than the 197 cup chassis) same 7mm lowering, bigger front ARB and quicker steering ratio. Cheers

What's the difference between the original manifold and the Oreca one? How much sis you set it back? Stumac1985, if I understood your quote good enough, what the engineer said is that it doesn't matter if you go bigger as the effective WOT is achieved with the original TB, so there's no need...

Mine eats some oil, but not that much. I'll have the compression checked anyways, but if it's low I can guarantee you that I will fight for a brand new engine, don't want the renault mechanics (at least here in Spain) opening up my engine and messing it up.
