Mines done 12k and the engine still feels tight as - it is a 2nd car though. From what I've read I bet these engines will be good for muchas miles if maintained properly!

My local dealer said they are cost £100 per set. Thankfully I've got a mate who is a mechanic and he has been quoted about £50 for them from an independant supplier. I like to have a dealer stamp in the book for routine servicing but there's no way I'm paying dealer prices for my plugs changing!

Is that at a main dealer? If so that's cheap. I thought the 3 year service was a change of spark plugs as well. My local dealer is quoting £320 just for the 36k service. Thankfully mine has only done 12k so they just recommended a standard servce :thumbup1:

I've just bought a very tidy V-plate Fiesta as my daily driver and it's got one annoying little fault. The time clock doesn't work, even though I swapped it for another unit (albeit 2nd hand and working "100%" as the seller put it). Has anyone else encountered this?
