    wrong springs

Maybe they fitted the rears, then started on the fronts. In which case they would have replaced the rears twice and I'm sure it took some time to figure out the fronts didn't fit. You can't really blame the garage... I wouldn't do it for less than £150!

    ESP cuts in hard

The car is completely stock with 3,000 miles on the clock. Will be fitting H&R's tomorrow though

    wrong springs

No, those are the H&R part numbers and the H&R's are 30/40 drop on the later springs as well. I emailed H&R Germany and they confirmed it (regardless of what Demon Tweeks say) The Eibach are: E10-75-008-07-22 RS 197/200 until APPROX Aug 2010 E10-75-008-14-22 RS 200 after Aug 2010 If your car...

    ESP cuts in hard

Mine cuts in hard before any tyre squeal or slip, that's why I think there's something wrong with the sensor

    ESP cuts in hard

I've had a sneaking feeling there is an issue with the sensors ever since I've had the car. On my Mini or TT you could feel the brake being applied at one corner of the car but on the Clio it cuts in hard almost on all four corners. It's pretty scary to be honest, imagine cornering pretty hard...

**IMPORTANT** How the HELL do you get this bolt out?!

It's probably a bit seized. WD40 it and knock it out. Put the nut back on so you're hitting the nut instead of the end of the threaded bolt

    Brembo tool?!

The Ferarri is just beautiful, 6.3 V12 800bhp. The Lambo is crazy, as a Lambo should be

    Lowering stock shocks

I'm going to fit some H&R springs some time this week but after doing another car I thought there may be a way to lower the front further by almost 10mm without cutting in to the shocks travel. The stock shock has a fin welded to the shock body. The fin slots into the hub assembly to centre...

    ESP cuts in hard

If I push the car pretty hard, especially on a slight downhill, with the ESP on it cuts in and brakes the car with a sudden jolt. It comes out of the blue and scares the daylights out of me. Pretty scary pushing hard at over 70mph. It's this normal?

Actually, I don't think it will fit or look right on a 200. Looks great on yours though

    Anyone removed the ABS sensor?

I'm convinced there's something wrong with the front drivers side ABS sensor so was going to swop it over with the other side to prove a point. I can see the wire runs up into the wheel arch liner but haven't removed it yet. Does anyone know where it actually disconnects?

    Speaker Suggestions

Waste of time and money replacing just speakers or just head unit. I've been down that road. I put an Alpine HU with 4 coax speakers and the difference is staggering. Fit some sound proofing in the rear arches behind the speakers to tighten up the bass, well worth it for a small outlay

Doesn't look too bad to me

    Info on tyre size

I found a good deal on that size but I think it will look too small in the arches

    coil springs... lb/in

Eibach have told me the following about their spring rates... Rate wise, the rear is 32-54N/mm and the front is 27-45N/mm

What would be the best 200 to "invest" in

Gordini comes with leather which really lifts the interior. I do own one so obviously biased!

    Fitting springs is easy!

I did another forum members 197 non-cup last night using the same method and it worked. You need to compress the spring while it's on the car, that allows you to push the strut up and free of the hub. My car with cup suspension and shorter springs was far, far easier though. Because of my crappy...
