Battery low warning after battery replacement

Check your earths but it possibly sounds like an alternator regulator issue.

    One dipped beam not working

Have you tried what the above poster has: Swapped the bulb for a new Swapped the ballast and ignitor Plugged the dead headlight into the right hand loom and it works so isn’t the headlight unit. I’ve swapped the fuse and relays Removed and opened the fuse board and no sign of water ingress

Current worth F4R and TL4031 LSD box

The only thing I will add is prices for parts seem to be much higher in continental Europe for Clios so you could ask for even more than the prices above depending on how eager you are to shift them.

Engine options for a Clio 197

    1. There are a couple of supercharged Clios, some used on track with no issues. This will be to a large extent dependant on how solid the engine is to begin with as they’re getting on now and the addition of a supercharger is only going to exacerbate existing issues. I’d stick a charger on mine...

    Which One ?

Whichever has the best wet weather rating as dry weather road performance will be fine no matter which tyre you go for. Secondary consideration is wear as someone was telling me PS4s lasted longer than the RS3s they had just replaced but that was on a FWD diesel “hot” hatch.

    Radiator Support Crossmember

This seems like the best way forward. Along with trying to fix the undertray on with cable ties.

    Radiator Support Crossmember

Has anyone protected the radiator mount using something other than powder coating? My powder coated one has failed after 4 years and I’ve heard the BTT one lasts about the same amount of time.

Replacement sunvisor mount covers - who would be keen for some?

Hi mate, I’m still happy to buy at that price as well as act as a receiver and post out other people’s trims if needed.

    perhaps missfire?

No mate it’s the inline fuel filter I am referring to. I believe it is located near the fuel tank so will most likely need the diffuser to be removed.

    perhaps missfire?

Hi mate, good to see you’ve still got the Clio! It’s worth speaking to them as I’ve read about fuel contamination over here where the fuel stations have paid for customers cars to be drained of fuel. Moving on to the actual issue have you checked to see if you have an inline fuel filter...

    perhaps missfire?

Have you gone back to the fuel station and spoken to them? It’s not unheard of for fuel batches to be contaminated. I’d recommend draining the fuel (call a professional if you can’t get all of it out) and refuel from your usual fuel station. Have you also got a fuel filter underneath the car...

Replacement sunvisor mount covers - who would be keen for some?

I’d buy two sets (one painted and unpainted) as the plan is to fit a black headliner at some point.

    Instrument Cluster

Mileage can be adjusted, had a mobile mechanic do mine when I fitted the 200 clocks in mine. He used Clip IIRC. When you say cracked, is it just the plastic lens or the actual body of the clocks? The plastic lens can be swapped from any MK3 Clio speedo.

    Mike's racing blue 197

Mine does the locking/unlocking thing but not when running. Only does it after it rains which leads me to believe either one of the door handles needs replacing or the button on the rear diamond that also locks the car.

Installing original radio- something’s not quite right..

It appears that you have had an aftermarket head unit installed before, and part of that process is installing wiring adapters that allow you to convert the Renault wiring connectors to standard ISO plugs. What you need to do is remove said adapters which looks like this and the adapter for...

Have you had a look at the Motrio ones? I know they come with the cambelt kit from RPD. Worth asking them if you can get them separately?
