Its not a proper 200 without the Cup pack. Whether its "better" with or without it in various situations is another matter but for me RenaultSport is not about taking the soft option.

Are you running standard gear ratios/box? That's another argument for bigger turbo. The box works well with a peaky 7500rpm engine. Bigger turbo will move the torque up the rev range so bring the earlier gears back into play more, not to mention your putting more than double the torque through...

You obviously spent a lot of money so why not £700 extra for a bigger turbo/compressor wheel and run over 300bhp? You can also drop the lbft a bit too with a bigger turbo to save the box and flatten the torque curve.

Original box @10700 miles. however it makes funny noises sometimes. A dealer i trust says ok(drove car and checked gearbox oil) at the moment but they know of issues so ill have no problems getting it sorted when it does go.

As said above don't trust the trip computers. If a 182 says about 42 and the 200 35 they are doing almost the same. Brim both tanks then see the results. The 197/200 will do about 20% more miles and funnily enough that's exactly how much bigger the tank is.

197s are 12k/12m 200s are 12k/24m. Cambelts on 200s are 6 years and 197s 5. They are the same car, its daft.

Not true at all. More boost equals more torque. Bigger turbo means boost can be held for longer meaning more BHP. BHP = lbft X revs / 5252. Ofcourse you can use a bigger turbo to have more boost than a smaller one but usually when tuning a meg 225 on standard interals you run less peak boost...
