Clio 200 how to replace exhaust.

Yeah you need to cut the standard exhaust just downstream of the lambda sensor, assuming you have bought a replacement cat-back. Obviously make sure you match up the length of the new system with the standard system so you make the cut in the right place! Then the centre pipe should slide on...

Anyone running Michelin pilot super sports

Personally I would recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s for general/sporty road driving (imo relatively cheap) or Yokohama AD08Rs for fast road/track use (more expensive and wear quicker)

    'Poppy' GW FF 200

Currently sat in the sun in the sunshine state of Florida :) this is my last day of a two and a bit week holiday and I have been missing the car like crazy! So I have compiled a nice shopping list to order for my return on Thursday! Can't wait to get back behind the wheel of a proper car on...

So the 200 was running a bit rusty

Wow that's a pretty big jump! Was it dyno'd before the work on the exhaust to give 157bhp? Was it just the exhaust blowing causing the poor performance or were there any other underlying things?

    how to fit number plates?

Yeah either go through Demon Plates or just buy a roll of 3M double sided if you get plates from your dealer :)

    how to fit number plates?

I got mine from Demon Plates and they came with 3 strips of 3M double sided tape each. I just stuck those vertically, one on each end and one in the middle of each plate. Does the job perfectly and much better than screws. My parents Merc has 4 screws (I think) on each plate and doesn't even...

    All 4 corners being done!

Erm I couldn't give you a mileage. I only have them on the rear so they'll wear much slower there than the front. I have done a very hot trackday at Bedford with them and about 15k road miles and I think they still have something like 5mm tread on. I would say they wear very well personally. The...

    All 4 corners being done!

I would go for Eagle F1's if I were you. Really good tyre for day to day driving and very reasonably priced

    #Trophy save the date

I have been thinking it might not be the Clio too. It seems reallyyy early in the mk4's life to bring out a Trophy version. I would expect Renault to build up to the Trophy with some special editions etc first and then offer the Trophy nearer the end of its life or after a facelift.

    #Trophy save the date

My gut says they won't put an LSD in, so people have to opt for the pricier Meg for that luxury. If it is a Clio Trophy my guess is: - Sportier or cup suspension (but not Ohlins) - Slight power hike to around 210bhp - Quicker gearshifts of the auto 'box - Recaros - Akrapovic (this would be a...

    How sad is this

Cheers mate. Yeah I have the panel cleaner down on my list of car things to buy next week, along with Iron X (though not for the wheels - I have horrendous 'rail dust' dots all over the bodywork due to the weather and road salt). I found the below thread really informative and a nice addition...

    How sad is this

Spotless! How do you find the Gtechniq? Does it last as long as stated? I have some C5 for my wheels which I haven't applied yet & considering some for my paintwork

k-tec pro performance cat back exhaust

I had the KTEC and I agree that it was pretty loud! Takes some getting used to but I liked it. Gave the sound much more character than standard and lots of nice pops and bags :) I would check out the Scorpion system too, they are a good brand and are pretty reasonably priced.
