I tried clay for the first time a couple of weeks ago when I bought my 197. I was worried at first but like you say it is so easy to use and the results are amazing. Couldn't believe the dirt that came off my car just after cleaning it!

Yeah that sounds about right for mine too, I hear it inside the car but like you say, only slowing down in gear at about 2-3k rpm.

Its only at low speed and not loud, I only hear it at car park speeds

I've had my 197 a week now and think the pedal travel is quite long. I've found the first third of the travel doesn't really do much and when braking hard from high speeds the pedal needs a really good push and it does travel quite far. No signs of any problems so don't think its an issue...
