So I'm getting both track rods replaced as one has excessive play and the other play too.. I've been quoted with £67 for both of the rods, And labour at £156, I'm told it would take 1 and a half hours each side..is that correct? So the grande total was £311 Please do share your thoughts...

Yeh the lugs are already undone! It looks to be a perfect fit if the yellow plastic wasn't to be there.. To remove or not to remove

Okay after a massive tug the original gearknob rocketed into the roof narrowly missing my face..Like monkey try to fly plane I have now encountered a problem..my gearknob came with a fixing screw joint? Which does not fit over the yellowish plastic bit that holds on the original gearknob...

Right all smut aside, I just need to pull the knob off the shaft, just needs a bit of elbow grease and a good tug. Il get a picture up when I'm done..... Too far.. sorry.

Bought a renault sport gearknob, anyone know how to swap it over?? Thanks in advance
