    Rear pads - track users

I personally always pair the fronts and rear up with the same spec. They may not do much but as the heat range increases the two ends will behave very differently as the rear standards are fine at cold temps and as the fronts start to grip with more heat the rears may fade off. And for anyone...

    *****help*****

Someone on RSMegane has also had Limp mode faults with the bluefin just installed. Trying to speak to them about the issue is a nightmare as they just constantly deny all liability.

LY Racer Turbo 310bhp....but more to come soon

250 turbo is a good alternative to a 225 hybrid ( larger compressor housing ) and may be had cheaper if you find someone breaking one? I think the 225 hybrids are like £700+?

Is this a CUP spoiler without end plates?

Trying to be more suttle or maybe just different? Not the worst looking spoiler TBH.

    best way to spend £500?

I'd save up a little more for some decent coilovers. Benefit to both looks and handling.

LY Racer Turbo 310bhp....but more to come soon

Defo hats off to you for taking this on in the first place, takes some balls to dive into unknown territory and come out with such fantastic results. Havinh said that after owning the 265 for a year now I can confirm turbo power is totally addictive!

LY Racer Turbo 310bhp....but more to come soon

Shame to see the spec of this car changed, you spent so long achieving this much! Im sure what's planned will be epic but IMO a big V6 will ruin the clios sharp handling.

    New Quaife diff fitted ..

Assuming you've done a wet trackday without it otherwise you'll just think it's always been that awesome. I'd say you could get a similar effect on the front end fitting R888s on a dry day.

    New Quaife diff fitted ..

Was the best mod I made to my old 197, perhaps even more so than the ITBs. The corner exit traction on a wet trackday has to be felt to be believed.

    Forged f4r

Yes that was me but bottom end wasn't standard. I had forged Wossner high comp pistons with deeper valve pockets to accomodate higher lift cams with cup racer big end and crankshaft bearings. Con rods were standard bar the ARP bolts and reliable up to 8.5k rpm.

    Amazing tow hook

That's a fancy bit of kit but I'd be worried about clumsy marshalls damaging it with their tow hooks should you have an off on track.

    AT THrottle Bodies

172 ph1 also fits, that's what I used. I loved the way my 197 drove on ITBs the instant throttle response, soundtrack and revving the nuts off it really made for an involving and exciting drive especially on track. But then I drove the boosted 265 and immediately decided boost is more exciting...

    AT THrottle Bodies

Even with a standalone ECU the F4R in 197/200 form is quite limited IMO. I had to replace pistons to accommodate higher lift cams worth doing anything. It has to be remembered the F4R has been around for 14 years now and started at 170bhp so by the time it reached the 197 already had 30 bhp...

    AT THrottle Bodies

Well I had a set on the misses daily used 182 and it was used for around 15k and 18 months before being sold, not a single reliability issue.
