You'll need a 12mm hex key to remove the caliper bolts, they are an M14 thread. As for bedding in it all depends what pads your running. For standard I take it easy for a few hundred miles. But for DS2500's for example the bed in procedure is go out and give them loads of grief, let them cool...

I think thats a fault you'll need to get looked at, I believe the ABS system locks on for certain faults. How you been a bit forceful to see if its just the cold?

I wasnt questioning the percentage used for power loss, just the maths lol I remember seeing a rr result on a 197 once that gave a 205bhp@ fly result but a 145ish bhp@ wheel, 30% loss thru the transmission, that made me laugh

I heard from a friend of a friend of an uncle that if you remove the cams completely, drill a 24.6mm diameter hole in the airbox, and run a 0-30W oil then you'll see a gain of around 55bhp with a nice and smooth tick over, worth exploring??

Math correction 100BHP @ wheel with the transmission absorbing 20% of engine power would be a 25bhp loss through the transmission, so power at fly would be 125bhp ;)

This isn't true mate, HID kits have always been illegal its just that now MOT stations are actively looking for them. I believe there is a thread on it somewhere. Any kind of Xenon etc. lighting system needs self leveling and washer regardless of whether they were fitted at factory or aftermarket
