200: My old 200 at Spa

It must be a good box as most have gone by now. There were no tale tail signs of it going anytime soon. If anything I was convinced it would be the slave cylinder.

200: My old 200 at Spa

Do a Renaultsport day if you can. Spa is quite high speed and on a mixed open pit lane you might find yourself looking in the mirror all the time for faster cars. Driving tips I'd say watch lots of vids and try to remember the lines and get instruction when there. Don't be afraid to use the...

200: My old 200 at Spa

Just going through some vids as I'm bored and thought I'd share. Matt (FMP?) was there as well but different group. Mine was standard and had done around 2k miles at this point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRqci9Rz6b0&feature=share&list=UUduzCB8r3yPvANDI0rmzR7g You can hear the drag...

    Bloody snow

The snowis gone but the roads are still covered in ice. Good thing is everyone still manage to drive at a decent speed because they have the right tyres on and if they don't I can overtake them easily.

    Bloody snow

First proper snow storm here in korea. Car fitted with kumho kw17 and Driving uphill in fresh snow is easy, ice is ok but studs would be nice (or chains). Plenty of cars are still on summer, especially hgv and buses so not going anywhere at all.

    Xfr-s

I've only experienced the noise is the XK RSII so I know it's immense. One of the few advantage of working for them was taking development cars home. However, the xf isn't dynamic enough for my liking.

This makes no sense (trip computer)

So the light came on and you filled it up? 11G + 1G left to do that 30+ miles. BTW if its been brimmed it should run out just before 13G indicated.

    200: Fuel challenge

Definitely achievable. The Clio will display around 37 miles left at 390 miles then there's around 40/50 miles left. I've done this plenty of times and it doesn't run out until 13G if its brimmed.

Off to look at a replacement.....

I know it won't be a great car but better than taking my shopping on the train.

Off to look at a replacement.....

Korea is a great place to live. Cheap food, transport and alchohol. You'll be near Busan which I love. I rate Busan above Seoul as everyone seems friendlier (especially the girls). How long are you here for? I'm down in Busan for a 5 day weekend at the end of sep.

Off to look at a replacement.....

a 1.0 Kia Morning (Picanto). Would like a RS but currently living in Korea which makes non domestic cars expensive. I guess there won't be much overtaking. haha

    Bedford Autodrome....

Just read the comments and it is what happend. Once it starts rotating there was no way the ESP can save it.

    Bedford Autodrome....

Seems as though he changed gear and didn't match the revs properly hence the wheels rotating at much slower speeds which caused the lack of traction. Locked may not have been the accurate description but it lost traction for enough time. I can't think of any other logical reason why it would...

    Bedford Autodrome....

I would disagree. The ESP won't be able to save it for the fact the back wheels are locked, it simply can't defy physics.
