How tight did you torque the strut top bolts up to after fitting it? @Frank Perry

OK so the mk3 callipers fit the Clio bracket. Speedlines don’t fit over them and make contact at the lower edge under the Brembo logo. And finally the pads are to big for the Clio standard discs. Meh!

I don’t believe they need a bracket to fit.

Main reason I’m fitting them is because one of the bleed nipples is snapped on one of the callipers (ones on the car ATM), so it needs sending of for a repair. And having these megane ones sitting around got me thinking.

I had the same issue when I bought my Clio. Searched for ages and finally found some from ren parts. I also needed the front bumper under tray but ended up making one out of a large piece of abs plastic sheet.

I’ve got the k-brace, not sure if it made any difference but it should as it bolts to the isofix location with a cross brace. One thing that I don’t like is I get a metallic clunk noise when I go over speed bumps or dips in the road.

From what I’ve read they’re the same as the ones we have on the Clio but just a different design. So other than being nice and shiny I don’t think I'll see any other benefits.

Yeah this is my dilemma, I’d like to fit the brembos but I’m a bit unsure I want to go 20mm. I’ve got some washers in the garage that’ll allow me to test what will allow the wheels to fit with clearance, then I can judge from there what spacers I’ll need.

Yep the Brembos of the mk3 megane. I think the offset is going to be the issue, from what I can see from looking at them the speedline wheels will make contact at the lower part of the spoke.

Hi, does anyone know if the updated Brembo callipers will fit with the speedline wheels? I have a set and they look a fair bit bigger than the standard brembos that are on my 200.

So it looks like 16mm h&r are the ones to get or it’ll have to be none hub centric if I want to go narrower. *answer above* :) I’m thinking of getting some wheel spacers but don’t want to go to wide. What are the narrowest spacers that are hub centric that I can get?

Picked up a set of speedlines in red yesterday, the ones currently on the Clio are buckled and welded. So as I’m a massive fan of Renaults R versions I thought I’d do a photoshop of an idea I’ve had in my head.

Yeah I left it today at 3 race and 8 sport, didn’t have any more kangerooing issues than I normally do, if anything I was happier with the way it pulled away.

Purchased a speed booster v3 for the Clio. One thing since buying the Clio is the lack of throttle response at the beginning of the pedal travel, I think this is also exaggerated because my daily is a civic fn2 type r and I love the throttle feel in that. Anyway fitted the booster been out most...
