What after market wheels for cup racer geo/suspension

Thats right. They have wider track by a little over 20mm or so. I believe they also ran a 5mm spacer and they did have the 8J wheel. The speedline is ET68, but most aftermarket wheels you see for clios are around ET50-ET55 which would push the wheel out even further along with the wider track...

What after market wheels for cup racer geo/suspension

Anyone found reasonably priced after market wheels that fit with the cup racer setup? Most after market stuff seems to have a lower offset, with the cup racer widening the front the lower offset would have the wheel in the arch I think?

Decided I will go full racecar and shed as much weight as I can. So heater will be coming out. But I know the windscreen fogging up would do my head in so I got this tiny heater and its only 600g (dry)

Filling holes where heater controls are

Stole this picture Any track guys that have done similar to the above know how to secure plastic/carbon on the heater controls holes?

    F4RT Bowling.

I got a friend to plug a reader in and to find 0 on the steering angle sensor for me when I had a similar issue. Might cause an issue with the yaw and the angle sensor not reading what they expect. Weirdly on his reader my steering angle sensor only read values in the first full turn either...

    CNC parts ideas

Wish I thought of this at the time lol I spaced both down, then put an extender on the steering wheel to bring it closer. But because of the angle, bringing it closer also made it a little higher again :/

    Sprint Hillclimb 197

Decided that I am going to add the front half of the cage so that I can change class which means that I can do the odd hillclimb without needing MOT/tax/insurance (does my head in needing this to do one or two hills a year). My dad thinks he will do a sprint or two then too. Took the dash out...

    Sprint Hillclimb 197

Yea! The bump really caught me out on that run. I have a video from behind and you can see the rear jump up, I'm sure the front did similar but can't see it on the video. Must try and it get it uploaded. After the bump I stopped trying to make the corner and just get it slowed down lol

    Sprint Hillclimb 197

First hillclimb went really well. Really enjoyed it! Only one hairy moment where I went over a bump in the braking zone and no amount of brake or lock would get it round the corner :tearsofjoy: felt like it sped up and just went straight! Just managed to get it stopped before a steep bank. Saw...

    225/45 instead of 215/45 - Softer Ride?

I hadn’t run 215 before the 225’s. I bought the car and started to build it for sprints on a budget. 225’s where cheaper, I thought wider would be better at the time and 225 on 7.5j is “fine”, so I went with them. Just feel after going that direction 215’s would feel pointier. But as you say not...

    225/45 instead of 215/45 - Softer Ride?

I'm glad its not just me. I'd like to try 225 8j front and 215 7.5j rear

    Sprint Hillclimb 197

Ever since I put all the cup racer bits on the car I thought I was missing out having the thinnest front ARB that came on a Clio (20mm). I messaged many breakers but none were willing to measure ARB's for me or let me go and measure as other cars like scenics etc came with 21mm and 22mm and they...

    225/45 instead of 215/45 - Softer Ride?

I went with the 225's on my track car as they were cheaper and I thought wider would be better. But I think I regret it as I always think now after having the 225's that the 215's would be "pointier". I feel like the 225's bulge slightly on a 7.5J wheel and roll a bit more.

I agree with you there, I like the design of yours better. I’m pretty sure my drivers side ones are the same, but looking at the SW website, if the picture is accurate, it looks like they changed the design to 2 slots as well. Maybe not just as big a slots as my broken ones though

Ahh! @Big Ben which side mounts do you have? You will see my outside broken supreme mount has been turned around Pure replied and they say the max width is slightly smaller than what sparco say the sprint L is. He said I could use 2 tunnel side mounts. But would have to buy 2 sets as it would...

Do you have both mounts angled so that the floor bolts are under the seat instead of both mounts pointing to one side? Does that make sense? For example i have the small seat on the drivers side and the outside has the floor bolts outside the seat and the inside has the floor bolts under the...

    Sprint Hillclimb 197

Yea thats the plan! Just need to make sure I get some that work with a sparco sprint xl seat that I have in the passenger side. The sw motorsport ones i have on the drivers side might not work for that seat
