    197 akrapovic?

This actually isn't really correct. It meets the requirements even here in Germany. It's more like the centerpipe simply doesn't has an (E) approval mark while the backbox has one. But this should be irrelevant for you anyway as this is only important in countries with stricter regulations than...

    197 akrapovic?

That is the backbox. It's called "Slip-on" while the whole system with backbox and center-pipe with resonator is called "Evolution". https://www.akrapovic.com/de/car/product/798/Renault/Clio-III-RS-200/2012/Evolution-Line-Edelstahl?brandId=16&modelId=41&yearId=143 Like said already you'll have...

Take the diffusor off next time you go on track and see if it makes a difference? :sunglasses: @bozian: Any input on that, Max? /edit: From the brochure for the Sport Auto Edition: "Diffuser at the rear of the vehicle: As in Formula 1 use, the diffuser creates a vacuum under the vehicle...

Thank you for the explaination and pics. I've never heard of an umbrella effect in that regard. Does this cost topspeed or does it negatively impact the generated downforce by the diffusor?

Hello and welcome. Nice car and mods. Can you please explain what the raised diffusor does and what you've done to raise it? The R3 rims are Speedline 2120 Turinis?

Aliengreen 200 and Cup-Racer from Germany

I had no clue about the differences and expected you'd all run about the same setup. Thanks for clearing that up. I hope you'll get the issue sorted. Go Nemo!

But aren't other teams like Gerrit's for example also running their Clios without a wing? I remember a discussion about this and the general opinion was that a rear wing will only cost you topspeed while not contributing much if anything at all when it comes to handling.

Hey Mate, Aus GP 200 Clio cup

G'day mate! :german: A quite rare Clio you've there with only 30 (31) built. Which number is it? Btw, it's "Liquid Yellow" and good idea with removing the stickers. I just hope they weren't on there too long and you don't have any shading issues with the paint.

    hub carrier damage

The hole obviously shouldn't look like that. But I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. Is the part with the bolt a tie rod? If so there should be a sleeve around the lower part of the bolt. If that is missing the bolt has play which will lead to wear like in your photo.

    Boot lid rust

I had a similar issue with my Pug 306 years ago and got it fixed for 150,- € IIRC. Was a window out and no botch job. So, quite a good price. In general this position seems to be quite known to start bubbling first with the Clios as that's where dust (thanks to the diffusor) and moisture gets...

    Clio 200 steering rack

Not sure about other Clios but there definitely is a difference between "standard" RS and Cup/Cup-Chassis as the latter have a rack with a slightly quicker ratio.

    197 Aerodynamics (CFD analysis)

The simulations and aquired data is quite interesting and the findings in for example the relation to the spoiler are actually coinciding with what the teams racing Clios in the Nürburgring endurance series are reporting. Which is that the Cup spoiler or spoilers in general don't add anything...

Cat vs No cat. Clio 3 RS (203)
