Well done for identifying the problem. Does your VXDIAG device maintain a constant connection? My cheap CLIP clone drops the connection to the car randomly which makes it useless for some tasks.

The sounds like awful service from a Renault dealer. In the UK I wouldn't bother to take my Ciio to a Renault dealer as they would probably charge very high prices to get staff who are not familiar with a Clio 200 to complete maintenance work.

Brembo HC discs, Ferodo DS1.11s, braided lines and something like Motol RBF 660 is a great combination. I run Godspeed J hook discs rather than Brembo HC discs and have found that the pedal is firm all day long on track days.

Did you ever get a response from Superpro about the boots? Our boots are looking like they are about to split. I have e-mailed Superpro about the problem suggesting that they should not perish within a few months and will see what they say.

I am not sure if this answers your question. The pipe that runs from the throttle body to the acoustic valve can be discarded but you will need to blank off the small outlet from the throttle body. We took of the solenoid that opens the acoustic valve but it then threw up an error code so...
