It's a nightmare job, I like to think I am a decent spanner monkey (engine swaps, rebuilds, head porting, ecu mapping etc) but took me best part of a day, cut the pins with a disc cutter and then beat the crap out of the remaining pin

ok forget the headline figure, in your opinion, is it worth getting a decat and remap to improve drivability? 187 seems low, i would expect that standard
say i want a genuine 200bhp from my 197, is there a proven way to get that, i was thinking decat and remap but will that be enough, what do most cars make standard 190??
Thing is I'm not taken on the turbo conversion, I have just come from a 320hp classic impreza and I am enjoying the clio being N/A, with the clio you need to commit to drive fast and I'm not sure if some of that would be lost.
200 real hp and some mid range pull would be perfect I reckon so...
