Thanks guys, can anyone link me to a resistor for the anti sub bag wires? I'm not sure what I'm looking for!

Ok so I have an auto electrician who is going to sort the wiring out, I'm going to fit the seats myself first then drive to the garage, but just wondered if this will cause any faults with the car due to the airbags being disconnected??

Ok brill thanks mate, have given capital an email to see if they can help. If not I'll get some of those connectors and match the wires up, I've just labelled them all at both sides so I know where they go to. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out the brown and pink wires, I'll post back again...

Yea that makes sense, think I understand now. All the excess wire was confusing me, but it must be the wire from the car that's usually under the carpet? So something like this, on either end would be ok? Male and female versions of course... One other thing is that there are 2 wires, brown...

Thanks for helping me with this mate! I'm useless when it comes to electrics, so apologies for sounding dumb now! Do I need to get connectors which will plug into the loom that's in the car already? How will I know what type to buy? On the drivers side there are more wires, all taped together...

Thanks for the pics foxspeed, think I've figured this out now.... Where your connector is on that 'plate', my wires have electrical tape round them, and it looks very much like the connectors have been cut off and the wire from the car loom joined to the wires from the recaros. I hope that...

Definitely have 5 wires - orange, black, purple, white and brown... The drivers side seat has twice as many :S although it looks like the seatbelt wiring too Now I'm even more confused

I was hoping that but I can't see any connectors on the wires at all, just a bit of loose wire then the rest is clipped up to the seat before it goes into the airbag casing...

Thanks guys, I just don't know where to start though. Spoke to Karl about parts and the connectors only come with all the wiring, which is fine but I can't figure out how it is wired into the airbag module? Wanted to take the plastic cover off to see but scared to break my new seats lol ;/...

Is the airbag module removable on the seats?? Trying to figure out which wires I need...

So to cut a long story short, I managed to source a set of recaros for my car :drool: Had a proper look at them today, and the airbag wires have been snipped off where they would go into the carpet: On the standard seats, there is a connector in the side of the seat just behind the plastic...

I riveted mine in but its a bit of a pain to get straight (and it just pulls out anyway) so I'm tempted to do the same and velcro it back on, nice and simple!

How much for the inlets to be matched plus a remap? All I want from mine is a little more torque low down in the revs... Had my car on the rollers at JS before and it came out at 190bhp standard

Looks great mate, bet you're chuffed with the spoiler! Oh and I have a stubby aerial on my car and have the same signal quality as the OEM aerial... :p

Mine have both gone recently too, 2 years old! TwingoGeeko sorted me out with a new pair that should be here this week!
