so i have a 197 with a megane f4rt and gearbox fitted but the reverse lights dont work the reverse switch i think is different as the wiring dont match :( what have people done to get round this fit a 197 switch ?

i almost bit the bullet and forged the bottom end but i plan to travel again in july so just a standard rebuild is on the cards with arp bolts maybe a 250 turbo if i can find one for sub £300

ive always said when you break something on your car dont just replace with original stuff use the opertunity to upgrade it :)

i replaced the turbo no joy

so after the rolling road day on saturday my worst fears were confirmed :( the car is down on power alot since i got it back it felt slow and seemed to be getting worse the rollers gave me a print out of 203bhp although still the most powerful clio on the rolling road day i was very dissapointed...

i double checked it is ill be there first probaby with a mcdonalds breakfast

its really nice to be back in a clio especially a boosted one im back in the uk for about 5 months i definalty intend on doing some work on the clio mainly exhaust and getting a decent map on it as for some reason or another it has a standard map on it . when i do leave ill be gone for 5-12...

im not really too worried about extra turbo wear as i have a spare one and i wouldnt mind upgrading i think ill give it a try

by dump valve i mean recircularing dump valvev

i want to get alot of waste gate chatter noise from my meg converted 197 to achive this can i remove the original dump valve and fit a blanking plate ? will there be any side affects draw backs by doing this ?
