Lateral sensors, configuration

Hi all,

Onto the next issue with the rebuild.
Airbag light on the dash - stopping me going for MOT currently

I have 2 faults
Driver lateral sensor, configuration
Passenger lateral sensor, configuration

I originally thought is was the seats causing the airbag problem, fitted resistors and did not clear the fault so this is what I am left with.
Not a huge amount of information out there so hopefully someone else has had this fault.

With the seats unplugged

Seats plugged in

So had a look at the module under the handbrake
Gave it a clean with some electric cleaned and plugged it all back in -

I know can't see the SRS module on the OBD reader

The airbag and spanner warnings are still lit on the dash

Here is a pick of what I mean by the SRS module

Any help appreciated
Thanks

Also - the car has been off the road for 5 years so can't take it to anyone with a CLIP etc

This is hopefully the last hurdle for MOT

Lateral sensors are in the B pillar (95% certain).
Definitely nothing to do with the seats.

You should be able to find where the cables tee off the loom on each side.

If the problem is with the airbags/seats then you might need CLIP to sort it out unless you can get everything back to how the car thinks it should be. If anything has been removed from the original configuration then the airbag system often gets upset.

I think these lateral sensors are a new warning
So yep seats and carpets back out and start tracing it

I am really struggling to find some one with a CLIP close enough

However anyone with CS seats confirm if I should have wires coming out of the seat buckle

So I think I may have fixed this

Pulled the interior back out (annoying as it was all glued in place)
Traced the wires and found lateral sensors

Nothing obviously wrong with them and weird both are in fault
So disconnected them and the fault status went from active too memory
Did a clear fault code and they disappeared

Plugged the seats back in and all faults are gone apart from
Driver seat positioning

Played about with it but just no luck
So popped a resistor down the plug and the air bag light went out.
The fault is still there but dash is clear

To late to turn the car on
So will make sure all is working tomorrow
