At the moment my project is in pause, because on firsts days of maj i'll become daddy :smile: :smile: :smile:

So i don't want spend too money ahahahah.. i'll use without any others mods.. only fuel, oil, tyres and brakes if it needs!
This years less mods plus track.. i organized a champ in north italy and i need to do some good times ahahah
In the future i would like to fit ITB, r3 250 cams, oil radiator and 330mm brakes :lol:

mmmm i think we need new pads, disc, brembo kit pins and spring (23 in pic) and rubber gasket for the brembo cylinders.. (26 in pic)

i think to take ds3000 pads (i just try rc5, rc6)
cup disc (cheaper but good)

i discover that my gaskets are broke.. better change them

Those discs are very good :thumbup1:

Regarding pads, Carbone Lorraine are awesome, but they destroy discs, and obviously gaskets :smile: DS3000's are also great, but they are very old pads and old compound, try with new DSUNO compound... Or if you want something else, I use Carbotech XP10 on my EVO IX, they are awesome, and gentle on discs... If you want to try something of Carbotech range contact Ian - sales@carbotech-europe.com I'm sure he can sort you out on something, you use your car mostly on track, so you might try even XP20, but he will give you best advice what to use...
 
I had broken dust seals on my brembos too. If you're going to the effort of replacing them then you should do the piston seals at the same time as it'll only take a few more minutes.

For this time i will try the 3000.. many friends tell that they are good..
CL rc6 are awsome, i hope these are at the same level..
my disc at the moment are good, not so destroied from rc6 :smile: i thought worse, many worse.. i don't know why,, maybe i'm gentle with brake.. boo

hi ben, i think it's an easy work, i'll make some pics..
i'll change discs, pads and these gasket in the end of february.. 23 April i've my first time attack @ Imola... :smile: :smile: So i want that my r27 will be ready :wink:

All pads work using a combination of abrasive and adhesive friction. The abrasive mode is at low temperatures, and the adhesive at high temperatures. Carbone Lorraine are sintered pads, and they have a lot of metal in them, so they work excellent from low temperatures, but they eat discs, and squeal a lot because (because race car :smiley:) they need a lot of heat to go to adhesive mode... For comparisment Carbotech's (I'm not advertising them :smile: ) are a little bit softer and gentler (XP10's, I don't know about XP24's :smile: )...
