Further update - I did manage to repair the original dash, but the ribbon connector inside was temperamental so that now needs replacing. Either way, it’s old kit so I’ve decided to tray and AIM dash instead. I’ll report back on how that works out.

I’ve got an X85 cup car that we have retired from racing and now use as a track day car. It’s loud - don’t really know how loud as I always cheat the noise tests, but well over 101Db. We need to quieten it down, but I don’t want to chop up the race exhaust. Does a road car Milltek or similar...

Quick update - I eventually got this sorted. I managed to find another LCD (same type but from a motorbike) after hunting for a while on the internet. I then got a local TV repair chap to swap the LCDs over from one dash to another. Now it’a like new :)

I’m 99% sure they are coded to the car, so you need to get yours fixed. Give BBA a call. They were very helpful and knowledgable about these issues Good luck!

Hi yep, that’s it the BCM. Sorry, I was being lazy and not trying to remember what it’s called. It is basically the box of tricks that controls all of the cars dash, electrics and stuff, but not the engine ECU. I think BBA Reman only charged about £40 so it was a cheap fix. My hazards...

Hi I had a similarish problem on my rs200. I tried to change the switch, which did nothing. Then sent to ECU (under the dash that controls all this stuff) thing off to BBA Reman (I think that’s the name) and they fixed it and the problem was sorted. There are lots of other posts about this...

Does anyone know the colour code for the Clio X85 cup cars - 2012 in white. Was it the same Glacier White as the road cars? thanks

I tried both of these guys. Whilst both very helpful and responsive, it wasn’t something they can help with. I’ll give BBA Reman a go next week to see if they can help as they fixed my dash control unit in the last Clio

Thanks. I’ve found one for approx £1k……but I’m more interested in getting it repaired for £100 :)
