    200 missfire no codes

Have you checked for cracked exhaust flexi's, exhaust flange where it bolts to the engine, or any other parts of the exhaust leaking? As frank said, exhaust changes (or leaks) can cause noticeable problems on these. Look out for black soot to easily spot a leak on the exhaust. Changing the cam...

    Changing exhaust manifold

Also, there's a rectangular brace across the subframe- you don't need to remove that. Just leave it on. The nuts inside it are welded on but the weld cracks easily... ask me how I know! It makes it a pain to get it bolted back in

    Changing exhaust manifold

No worries. The metal pin from the steering rack slots sideways into the bottom of the steering column shaft, and it can be a pain to slide out... the clamping pressure from the bolt bends the metal of the steering column shaft around the pin. So, you might need to bend this metal bit open...

    Changing exhaust manifold

I did it on stands a few weeks ago no problem. Remember to undo the bolt at the bottom of the steering column behind the pedals in order to drop the subframe. Undo the droplinks. The undo the subframe bolts, lower it on a jack. I left my wishbones attached and let it hang from those, there...

Stuttering under acceleration and rough idle SOLVED

I've just done this on mine too, only thing I would say is there was no chance of the 2.5mm o-rings going in on my map sensor, but new 7x2 ones has really firmed it up

Clio 197 won't move past RPM (bad throttle response)

@bedoef did it do it all the time after you changed the manifold? I'm having the same... I put a toyosport on, had it remapped which sorted most of it, but I'm still getting this occasional stuttering now

    Twingo wheel on a 200?

Hey folks. I'm not keen on the stock wheel on my RS200, particularly for trackdays, it just feels too big. But I want to keep the cruise control and airbag. It's my daily and does 10k a year on the road as well as a bunch of trackdays, so I don't want a track only wheel with no airbag. I've...

    O/s driveshaft advice needed

I can confirm IBK55.018 fits. Woop! I can send the £140 driveshaft back now

    O/s driveshaft advice needed

Thanks turkie, and yeah I've looked at those part numbers, but I think thats the wrong dimension? I measure the OD of the driveshaft tri-lobal end at 69mm, whereas that one for IBK55.014 you posted is 73mm. I've been in touch with NTN SNR and they have given me the new part number for what...

    O/s driveshaft advice needed

@turkie172 any chance you can see the part number on the inner boot? Mine says NTN 64487, however googling this sends me on a wild goose chase of similar boots that aren't quite the right size. I'm guessing NTN SNR have changed the part numbers. I'm tempted to buy the whole driveshaft, but want...

    Replacing inner CV boot

I've ordered a Febi boot- will update next week if it fits or not! Once I've put the adjustable top mounts on, polybushed the suspension, replaced the sump gasket and replace the steering bush

    Replacing inner CV boot

OK, just getting round to this- does anyone know the part no for the inner drivers side CV boot? I can't seem to find it anywhere- only ones that are advertised as near side (passenger)!

    Replacing inner CV boot

Thanks folks. Do I need to drain the gearbox oil before removing the drive side driveshaft? I've seen some comments saying it only needs to be drained for the left hand side one?

Which catback exhausts are track legal? (and don't drone!)

I forgot to update this- I ended up getting a cheap second hand gravity backbox for £70 and thought I'd give it a go. I'm quite happy with it tbh. It's a little boomy at lower revs (I wouldn't want it for loads of town driving, but it's fine as my general runaround), but all in all sounds good...
