    Twingo wheel on a 200?

Hey folks. I'm not keen on the stock wheel on my RS200, particularly for trackdays, it just feels too big. But I want to keep the cruise control and airbag. It's my daily and does 10k a year on the road as well as a bunch of trackdays, so I don't want a track only wheel with no airbag. I've...

    O/s driveshaft advice needed

Thanks turkie, and yeah I've looked at those part numbers, but I think thats the wrong dimension? I measure the OD of the driveshaft tri-lobal end at 69mm, whereas that one for IBK55.014 you posted is 73mm. I've been in touch with NTN SNR and they have given me the new part number for what...

    O/s driveshaft advice needed

@turkie172 any chance you can see the part number on the inner boot? Mine says NTN 64487, however googling this sends me on a wild goose chase of similar boots that aren't quite the right size. I'm guessing NTN SNR have changed the part numbers. I'm tempted to buy the whole driveshaft, but want...

    Replacing inner CV boot

I've ordered a Febi boot- will update next week if it fits or not! Once I've put the adjustable top mounts on, polybushed the suspension, replaced the sump gasket and replace the steering bush

    Replacing inner CV boot

OK, just getting round to this- does anyone know the part no for the inner drivers side CV boot? I can't seem to find it anywhere- only ones that are advertised as near side (passenger)!

    Replacing inner CV boot

Thanks folks. Do I need to drain the gearbox oil before removing the drive side driveshaft? I've seen some comments saying it only needs to be drained for the left hand side one?

Which catback exhausts are track legal? (and don't drone!)

I forgot to update this- I ended up getting a cheap second hand gravity backbox for £70 and thought I'd give it a go. I'm quite happy with it tbh. It's a little boomy at lower revs (I wouldn't want it for loads of town driving, but it's fine as my general runaround), but all in all sounds good...

    Replacing inner CV boot

Hi folks. The inner CV boot on my right hand side driveshaft is split. It's a 2009 RS200. Is this inner boot replaceable, or does it require a new driveshaft? And does anyone have the correct part number? I'm seeing conflicting information around. My plan was: undo lower balljoint on hub...

Intermittent engine shudder at idle and engine vibrations around 2300 rpm

I get a slight vibration at 2300rpm- it sounds like a metal vibrating noise rather than something I feel. I've never thought anything of it tbh!

Which catback exhausts are track legal? (and don't drone!)

Ha, my last car was a supercharged Lotus Evora with valved exhaust- effectively straight piped with the valve open. It was 125db at 4.5k RPM. Utterly ridiculous, and driving through mountain passes with windows down basically mandated earplugs. My missus could hear me coming several minutes away...

Which catback exhausts are track legal? (and don't drone!)

Thats great to know, thanks for the input. I've gone off the idea of a scorpion, most people seem to find it pretty unsociable. Does anyone know how they sound with the backbox removed? I thought of maybe welding in a valve between the resonator and backbox, to vent straight under the car...

Which catback exhausts are track legal? (and don't drone!)

Has anyone got any feedback on the resonated scorpion? Some say it's fine, some say it drones horrendously?

Connects2 not compatible with Clio 200?

OK, follow up, it all works, steering wheel controls and all (despite connects2 telling me it wouldn't!) The 007.2 adapter is the only one required (with the patch lead for whatever brand headunit you have). Just make sure you wire up all the connects2 wiring together/with the radio BEFORE...

Connects2 not compatible with Clio 200?

It's buggered. The antenna socket was broken so I pulled it apart and damaged it more trying to remove it from the circuit board. But PM me if you want to discuss so as to not derail the thread

Connects2 not compatible with Clio 200?

Well, I've ordered it all anyway, we'll see if it works and I'll update this for anyone else in the future. I ordered: Radio: Pioneer SPH-20DAB Connects2 CTSRN007.2 Connects2 CTSRN00C (this includes the 007.2 and another lead that fits- i'll send back whatever doesn't work) CT24RT03 Fascia...

Connects2 not compatible with Clio 200?

Yeah I think I'm following Craig, thanks. I found this thread as well- the person seems to have the same loom as me and got the connects2 working... https://clio197.net/threads/help-identifying-stereo-connection.54419/

    Help identifying stereo connection.

Hey @Gus , I've also got a 2009 200 and have removed the broken original unit to replace. I've got a similar reply from Connects2 RE the car being a 'crossover system' and it requiring CANBUS, and they said the 007.2 won't work. So, before I go and pull the plug and order it all anyway, I...

Ah yeah that's another problem, lots of the links seem to be to old threads which have been deleted!
