Mine only happened after jolting on the limiter though, it was smooth as silk til them. Putting it into first and reverse is very hard when stationary now.

No its definitely changed, every gear was smooth as silk before this. I can't think what's happened. It was a fair old jolt when it hit the limiter and it hasn't felt the same since. I never hit the limiter before and probably never will again to be honest!

Mine was fluctuating too so I changed the thermostat which I thought had fixed it. I haven't driven it properly for a while but today when driving, it started doing it again. Will this be the coolant temperature sensor?

Yeah that'd a cam sensor, just changed mine last week.

You can data log with one of the modules from them, and Henk will do a specific map based on that and e-mail it to you. I never did that, but I did use a generic map on my old Megane 225 which was brilliant.

I had this done and I am on the motorway every day. Personally I find it fine, and it sounds a lot better in my opinion. Certainly not intrusive inside the car.
