Not if you use a decent one. Startdrops will do. Just a light dilution of it. Short pile MF cloth, and rub.

Pre Machine polish I use Megs Red. If its a general clay and I dont want to cause marring but still remove a decent amount of dirt. Sonus Green (Now Grey)

Err. Drying aid and clay lube has to be Megs last Touch. Also use Megs 135 on company cars for protection. Great sealant, fairly durable and beads/sheets well.

Big bucks. It releases okay to begin with but once the bite has gone its just lifeless, doesnt feel atall right. Very Un keen.

Its as though it doesn't engage properly. I've been told it might be the gearbox mounts need tightening. If not, time for another gearbox. Maybe I just need to let it run in?

No, a Mk 2 clio. The pedal is light as a feather.

Is anyone elses clutch pedal really light and slow when releasing it?. I wondered if there was a way to make it heavy?

Got my car back today, brand new revised gearbox. Big palava getting it on the ramps, had to wind the coils up and it ended up on the lifters at citroen. Been really quick and have communicated well. Very pleased with my dealer. Just a shame my new gearbox grinds under acceleration in 1st

I wouldnt be putting any of that **** on the steering wheel. Apc and a thin MF cloth, not a plush one, and rub like fun.
