steering wheel detailing

Hi there, anyone familiar with any product suitable to cleaning the steering wheel leather and bring the natural matt back ? really pissing me off to see it shiny and... used... want it to look like new again LOL and dont want to spend a fortune on a new one...

Im not sure any product will really bring back worn leather.

You're probably best looking at things like the gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner though

Was going to say gliptone. I've done a few wheels, and it really gets rid of the shine! Fantastic stuff, make sure you use it on warm leather as it works best!

YEah just keep working it in with a MF its not 'quite' as good as gliptone on steering wheels but its cheaper and more versatile as it works as a great dressing for most interior surfaces and exterior rubbers.

AG leather cleaner & AG leather cream.

That will make the steering wheel last longer.

I use IPA mate works a treat, Plus its free from work lol.

I wouldnt be putting any of that **** on the steering wheel.

Apc and a thin MF cloth, not a plush one, and rub like fun.

Iv known light doses of APC to eat renaults excuse for steering wheels.

Not if you use a decent one. Startdrops will do. Just a light dilution of it. Short pile MF cloth, and rub.
