Mine recently stopped working altogether, I replaced the switch on the gearbox on the weekend and is perfect now. I found the old switch had a high contact resistance.

How much would you pay to have a wing or a spoiler painted? It's the exact same process. Only with an extra step and more material cost. Prep, paint primer, re-prep, paint colour, dip and then clear. If you think you can do it then why not have a go. Other have and failed miserably!!

He's not on here often. But he does most of business on Facebook. I don't know who the people are but he's done a few 197/200 dashes and loads of recaro seat backs for focus people.

There is a write up in the how to on removing seat backs. Lot's of the focus Rs people have them done. It looks good if the right carbon patten is used, not the one which is just black and grey squares. My defuser: Seat backs my friend dipped:

Hello all, My nightmare all stated as a simple disc and pad change, which as I've read often enough the pins and both inside pad's were seized. Got that sorted fairly easily, and then found a I had a snapped spring, while getting the spring off I managed to strip the thread on the bottom arm...

I emailed Powerflex earlier on this week. They have replayed saying the kit is in testing and should be available in the next 2-3weeks. And to keep an eye on they're site. So we should soon see..

Fernandez, I know what your saying and I probably agree, but dipping is a dam sight cheaper than real carbon fibre and opens up the possibility to having anything non porous done. The pic's really don't do it justice, the film they use is a million times better than the black check patten some...

It lacquered using standard 2k lacquer just like the other body panels, it has had several coats so should stand up ok.
