I have, annoyingly, noticed a small rust spot that is still underneath the paint at the moment on the tailgate on my 57 plate 197, just below the rear wiper on the little return where the glass joins. About half the size of your thumb nail. Now I'm 99.9% sure that it hasn't ever had paint...

Hmmm, can't see that. Is it's because I'm not a fully paid up member??

Funny how things prompt you but just purchased all the bits for a full service on the 197 and I now have the 'SERVICE NOW' message on and the orange 'spanner' light is lit. I'm guessing both go together as their is also a little spanner next to the message?? How do I reset them both, Renault...

Interesting differences really so thanks folks. Like the look of the Saris-Bone jobby. Currently I'm just unclipping both wheels and putting it in the back with the seats down but it's a bit of a pain and easy to scratch the back of the Recaros and the Dog wants it's duvet back. Bit more...

Has anyone had any experience of / or using a rear mounted cycle carrier on a 197. Poking around at the mo but price differences are varied and so it seems, is the quality. Don't really want to go onto the roof as MTB is carbon and my memory ain't the best anymore!!!!
