Just come across this thread. What would you recommend for bulbs if I am after a blue tinge to the lights but want to keep it road legal? I have seen loads of bulbs with the tip painted blue and know they are just rubbish. Any recomendations?

I'm missing it as well. Spoke to Renault and its only a couple of quid for a new one. Bit cheeky all the same

Yeah they do have headlight washers but I can't really say anything else about them. The main beam has a sort of fisheye type thing infront of the bulb if that helps? Isn't that what the projector thing is? I really have no idea I'm afraid and don't know anyone else with a 197 to compare to......

This may have already been asked but I couldn't find it on a search. When I first turn on my headlights they are a really nice xenon white colour but as they heat up they begin to turn to a normal yellow colour which I don't think looks half as good. Does anyone know why? Do the bulbs need...

I've got the Parrott which I think is really good for Bluetooth etc and I'm happy with that I'm just trying to get better audio quality and power for the system.

Where did you find them for a 197?

Cheers for all the advice guys! I've been recommended Alpine by a few other people as well. Anyone know anything about the IDA-X305S? Looks like its quite good with iPod etc. is it easy to replace the unit yourself cos I know it's all under the seat and trying to fit anything before was a nightmare!

Managed to replaced the tweeters which wasnt too difficult. The crossovers however I'm gunna have to give in to! The wires behind the dash and under the seat are a joke! :tongue_smilie:

Hey Guys, I've just fitted a set of components into the doors of a 197 which was easy enough but have no idea how to access the standard tweeters to change them or where best to mount the crossovers? Any tips/suggestions would be awesome as I cant find out how anywhere! Thanks all
