CLIP - What Wiring No.?

I plugged in CLIP to the car last night and was looking for obvious faults that would explain why some of the electrical items in my car are not working. The radio and multimedia screen have no power and cannot be found by CLIP. It may well be that they are some dodgy connections somewhere. But, I stumbled across references to wiring set ups in CLIP.

The descriptions below make some sense, but numbers 2 and 3 are confusing. I have got a 200 so I must have wiring 2 or 3.

Does anyone know, including @turkie172, if number 2 is for a full fat (even though it is called basic) and if number 3 is for a proper cup that does not have air conditioning, auto lights, fog lights etc., etc?

Are they definitely for the 197/200? In my mind, Phase 2 is 172/182

There are different references to wiring numbers in the sections of CLIP I was looking at last night when the car was plugged in. It makes sense that there would be two wiring sets ups for 200s as a proper cup has a different loom to a full fat. I always thought that something described as "phase 2" was the same as calling it a facelift model.

Phase 1 in this case referes to the 197 while Phase 2 to the 200.
