Battery Relocation (passenger / Boot)

I’ve recently bought an Odyssey PC680 battery and looking to move it to ideally behind the passenger seat..

I’m wondering if anyone has some pictures of their installations of anything similar and specs of cables etc.

The car is fast becoming more of a track car and rear will be soon stripped so all options welcome.

Thanks

Mine is in a box, in the boot, leaving much more room for the cone filter.Rear seats removed, and one piece carpet fitted, made the fitting easier. Plenty of Battery cable on eBay. Be careful with cables coming through the bulkhead!.

Yeah I’ve sourced a bulkhead fitting and a cage for the battery, the cables are easy enough to acquire it’s the actual cable fittings I’m unsure of

I have Clamps for the Battery. I will try to take some photos of the Engine compartment later, but the filter/pipes will have to be removed, and when I get bitten by the Midges/horse flies, it will be all your fault!.

I've used 25mm^2 wire for both positive and ground, 25-6 ring terminal in the engine bay, 25-10 at the bulkhead connector, then the same 25-10 on the inside of the car to the bulkhead connector followed by another 25-6 on the battery. thats all you need really, the ground is the same 25-6 on the battery and then you can use any size you want on the ground to chassis. think I have 25-10 or maybe 25-8. if you don't know the numbers are wire core size then the hole size so 25-6 terminal is 25mm core size and a 6mm hole on the end.. Then I've used 10mm or 3/8 p clips to secure my cables, as for mounting the battery if you have a cage id use rivnuts/rivstuds

Thanks mate, I’ve seen your progress post, I went safe with 35mm2 core cable and correct terminal sizes for bulkhead connector and battery
