Curious noise thread..

Hey all back again!

First off thanks for all the help everyone has given to me on these forums I wish I could repay you all somehow.

Anywho finished work early today and thought I’d swap over to the Clio for my three days off - started her up all sounded fine, as I’m driving I’m sure I can hear more ticking than usual it’s had an ever so slight ‘tick’ noise since I got it which I assumed was normal.

Anyway I’ve uploaded a Video in the hopes that it might be normal and I’m just being paranoid (car was up to temp and I’d only just parked up a few minutes before footage). So if anyone’s got a few minutes spare and could lend me there ears and opinion I’d be ever so greatful (again).

My thoughts are maybe because I’m using BP ultimate as I’ve found she prefers v power I was just in a tight location at the time getting low you know the drill.

Don’t know if it’s worth mentioning;
Cars on 57k
Spark plugs are spanking new triple checked for correct ones.
Oil was changed in feb so will be doing one ASAP.
Air filter is RAM Air (panel one).
It does have the scorpion backbox on if that makes any difference (can’t see why mind you).

LINk;

I don't know if it's a silly question or not, but is the exhaust/flexis all okay from what you can see?

As far as I can tell yeah, I’ll give it a look another look to be sure. Seemed okay from manifold down other day but who knows!

Can you hear it when sat in the car on the drivers side? Mine has this quiet tapping sound that changes with rpm that’s more prominent on cold starts first thing in the morning.

Only if I’ve got the window down and even then it’s ever so slight like I only hear it because I know it’s there kinda thing?

I’m assuming it’s a fairly normal noise, mind you I might get the pulleys/Cambelt/waterpump checked as I’m sure I can hear some noise from that area that sounds as if the pump is going perhaps.
