-Danman-'s LY 200

like where it says renault sport in front of the passenger is all carbony stuff and the recaro seats and door cards have like a carbon soft material.

Oh cool that sounds alright. Yeah I've seen the carbon type leather on seats before but didn't realise they came on the Trophy.

Some of you may have noticed that I'd removed the Clio badge from the boot. I thought this made it look much cleaner.

Now the next thing off the list was an exhaust. I decided to go for a Scorpion non res system with decat. I know a few people who worked there so arranged a time and date, had a steady drive up to their headquarters and picked it up.

It was fairly straight forward to fit. The hardest part was trying to remove the old system without cutting it, then realising I had to cut it in half as it wouldn't fit over the back axle lol.

A few days later I spotted a tunnel up ahead when driving to Chester zoo so chucked my phone at my girlfriend and asked her to video it :tearsofjoy: (I can't upload or embed the video for some reason)

I also managed to grab an absolute bargain on ebay for another set of speedlines with brand new ns2r's. I was planning to use these on track or over winter. It's always good to have another set of wheels right??

Well it's actually a very good job I bought these, because two days later (not even exaggerating) I ended up destroying one of my own wheels...

I was on my way to work and a cat decided to run out in front of my car. Instead of just running the bugger over, for whatever reason I decided to swerve and hit the kerb on a central reservation. I suppose I got lucky in the end because if I had lowered my car at this point the bumper would have been a mess as well.

To say I was pissed off at the time though was an understatement. I gently drove back home with the tracking slightly out and went about swapping the front two wheels over for the new ones with ns2r's.

Because my head was a mess and wasn't thinking straight I managed to drop one of the new wheels face down on the decking. So from 8 speedlines in mint condition I was now down to 6 in a matter of hours.

Luckily my Dad's mate owns a garage locally so I rang him up and he very kindly had a good look over the car. Thankfully it was only the tracking which was out and no other major damage like I was worried about!

Definitely one of those days I'm not going to forget for a long time!

bloddy cats..hate them with passion..same thing happened to me not long ago!!
glad the car is ok..what will you do about your damaged rims??

Yeah, annoying but could have been worse. I sold them mate. Should have refurbed them really though

By now I'd lowered the car on 30mm H&R springs. It looked so much better, but I couldn't help think the rear could do with being a little lower!

I then got rid of my rear wiper and replaced it with a glass bung. Here's a few photos from TRAX 2016 as well -

looks great..the de wiper thing is awesome..did that long time ago and it looks much better imo..

Lovely looking car. Have admired it many times over in Instagram. I’ve got a flush fit glad bung to fit at some stage if the weather would ever hold up long enough to let me fit it without getting soaked!

Was never keen on wiper deletes, but I think I've changed my mind...I've heard they're a nightmare to remove though??

What bung did you go for as there are some on ebay but the reviews say they aren't a flush fit.

Nice and easy then...do I need to blank off the washer hose from the pump?
