Info on dash vents

Im looking for some advice regarding the 3 dash vents.

I noticed in the picture below these are painted a gloss black round the edge of the vents.

Can anyone tell me how the heater vents actually come out the car and can they tell me if they can be stripped and painted and then built back up.

They just lever out. I used some trim removal tools. The front then unclips which will make it easy to repaint

Very easy, as above buddy. Dont use a flathead screwdriver, use a plastic trim panel to avoid damaging the edge. For the cost of spraying you can fit 2nd hand gloss black or gloss grey.

Where do you find the gloss black ones as I can’t seem to find them anywhere

Just as sidenote. There are versions that come with these black gloss frames. Seeing that the center console of the one in the example is also black gloss I'd say this is actually standard look in this case.

eBay buddy, not alot of them though and alot selling the bits seperately. I managed to find the side vents but not the trim or centre one. Can still be bought from dealers but not cheap.
