Advice needed - replacing anti-rotation links and drop links

Prior to replacing my lower ball joints this weekend, does anyone know which ones should be ordered from the likes of Euro Car Parts or GSF? It seems the dimensions vary online even though they are listed for the same car (3cm difference for example) - why does everything have to be so difficult!
I don't know if I will even need them, but want to be prepared, and return if need be.
I would order OEM but the prices are quite high.

Bare with me. I'm on this for you ! I ordered / fitted 'heavy duty' items for both these parts.

Gonna have to do a little digging to find part numbers etc. If i forget - please give me a nudge. Only just in and about to get some food.....

Struggling to find anti rotation links :-(

i THINK like you - i struggled to cross-reference / find solid info on these........so thinking back; i may well have gone for genuine items in the end.

think i may replace these once the engine is out..if you find the number for the anti rotation links-would be a very happy bunny me

I take it you saw my earlier posts, searches and thoughts on the links Micah ?

If you look: the drop links you've linked to are the very same ones I posted. Only my seller was £6 cheaper.

My thoughts on the anti rotation links are still the same. I never found any after market ones that convinced me enough they would fit. Hence I bought original Renault.

Good luck.

Evidently not! I swear I checked this thread last night when I went to bed, darn it. Thanks for responding twice, that's excellent service

I dont have such a great feeling about meyle "hd" parts. I replaced meyle hd drop links in my fathers e46 who drives like a grandpa, and one year after those were broken again.
And my father is not driving much.

I have read some negative findings also in US BMW forums. Lemförder is much better brand. For example BMW uses lemförder bushes, drop links and joints.. and those usually last 200-250k km.
I will replace both links in future, and i will only use Lemförder for the longer drop links and genuine renault for shorter.
Those will be more expensive yes, but i would not to want change those parts again in next year.
Here is link for correct drop link (lemförder), if someone is interested.

I am sure you can order lemförder parts from uk too, here i can go in my local parts supplier and just tell that lemförder number. Next day no problem.

Just my thoughts.

The reviews / reports on Lemforder stuff - after some quick Googling - is indeed excellent. Right across the board of all car brand replacement parts. Infact on quite a few cars.........Lemforder is original equipment from new.

Perhaps we should 'sticky' the Lemforder part-numbers somewhere as they are needed almost weekly by someone here ?

And it would be lovely to be able to do that with both the drop-links and anti-rotation links.

**So do Lemforder produce anti rotation links that will for the 197 / 200 ? And what is that part number anyone ?

A pinned post with useful part numbers for OEM equivalent is a great idea.
