Help! TB

So tomorrow I was planning to get my TB bored out to 64mm. Just got back home so I thought I'd pull it off so it's ready BUT it already looks done!!?

There doesn't seem to be any "lip" at all

The easy way to tell is to check the black plastic cover. on the modified ones it's usually got black tape around the edge. Post a pick up and I'll let you know.

I'll be able to get another pic up tomorrow but there is defo no black tape. The TB from the outside looked untouched

The plug that's connected to the TB does it just need a good tug? Or do I need to push a pin down to remove it?

That hasnt been been done, i can see the lip, its about 10-20mm from the edge. Theres a tag on plug that you push in

Yep, not been done that. Still has the aluminium banding intact as well.

it does if you want to break it...have a close look and theres a tab that needs pressing so it release from the housing...

I will be yeah. I've got two options. Someone is selling modified TB's on eBay for just over 100 bangers and they quoted this forum so either buy from him so I have a standard one to go back to in the future OR get my current one done.

It's about the limit but I have seen 65mm ones.

I bought one from the guy on Ebay, he offers rebuy of old one once fitted.

Gave it a bit of a clean up with some brake cleaner and it looks brand new.
The guys ebay name is: Sneakapeak99
Buy back was £35, so after the couple of quid postage it's about £30 so £70 for the mod.
I've just been out in mine and IMO it pulls a lot better than standard, may be that mine needed cleaning out but it pulls much nicer tbh. Well worth the money in my opinion.
