Tyre squel?

Just a random question as haven't spoke to any one about it but is it a clio trait that you don't get tyre squel when on the edge and it just hops along? It mite be the tyres but mine has never made a noise even when Iv lost all grip :/

Never experienced that but then I can't say I get squeal either. I take it don't run ditch finders with little wear left and pressures are correct.

Lol must not be pushing hard enough. Took her out early last Sunday and where I live I'm 1min away from a section of 4 or 5 roundabouts and first thing in the morning it's empty I just put it down to the tyres but I suppose I'll keep trying

Previous owner had them on... They still have 5mm on them so I'll abuse them until they wear out - then on to AD08s.

To be fair to ditch finders, and I wouldn't use them but all tyres have to perform to certain standards. Its not the tyre but the person driving who finds the ditch.

Fair comment, I suppose you drive to the suit the tyres you have. And if its used as a Dailey commuter I can understand putting them on.

Sure are. Had them squealing into the turns and on very heavy braking.

I've got perfectly good tyres in my shed (2 x contis and 2 x hankook) which I had off within a month :/ prob should have done this too as now I won't use them

Keep them as spares! Both of those makes are very good, how much tread is left on them?

A good 5 or 6mm mate. Just sat in the shed at the mo. like you said they are both good tyres which make me not want to get rid of them but the Yokos are just soooooo good I don't wanna put anything else on her
