197: 3 beeps upon unlocking of the doors

As I put my hand on the handle to open the door I sometime hear 3 beeps from the alarm yet other times I dont.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

It's when your alarm has gone off since you locked left the car.

I thought it was because you open the door to quick :'(

Both are right.

Normally it is just because you opened the door too quick and it was still 'unlocking'.

Thanks lads, I dont think my alarm has been going off as I have disabled the interior sensors (as they were setting the alarm off every 20 mins, grrrr)

Do all 197s have internal sensors because I don't think mine does.

the sensors are at the rear above the rear bench mounted on the roof lining

imports dont have them...along with locking wheel nuts

i got mine secondhand and the alarm wasnt fitted from new...checked up and it was a uk supplied car that had the alarm fitting missed :swear:
