What oil u use

depends what the ambient temperatures are serbia way - what does it recommend in the handbook?
 
South Africa Fox not Serbia. Coastal climate. Never see negative temps or anything above 35 celsius.

Temperatures here are usually fine, summer goes up to 35degreesC.
in winter i dont drive car.

Well they reccomend elf 5w40, but i never used it, since first KM, i was using MOTUL 300v 5w40.
I change the oil every 10.000km

i have done 49.000km with it with no problem.

i am just curious about what oils people use.

Ok mate, i know 300V is the best for now.. They have brought out a new model of 300V, supposivelly this new one is 50% better than the previous 300V so i will be using it in future :smile:
As for the gearbox i use Motul as well, and for my brakes oil i use MOTUL RBF660.
 
Motul 8100 X-cess.
The oil is fine.
Thinking of switching to Motul 300V, Titan Race or Yacco (galaxie or Yacco Lube)..
Obviously I have too much spare time..
 
Castrol Magnatec 5w40 C3 has been in my renault engine from the first oil service.
It is good oil and cheap (10 litres 60€)
