Warranty safe exhaust?

Is there a cat back that i can buy that will not void my warranty?

In a word no... But you will only void that part of the warranty. Obviously if you fitted a milltek then Renault are not going to replace it if it fails.

If say you had a problem with your suspension that can't say it was the exhaust that caused it so your warranty would still be valid.

I have a full milltek and had a leaking rocker seal which they replaced under warranty, they said nothing about the exhaust.

I have an Akrapovic Evolution and coilovers and they still replaced my gearbox.

Does it not depend on the dealer? Some are more anal and won't cover anything, even if it's totally unrelated to the changed part.

Or is it an official Renault thing, that they won't cover the changed parts but will everything else.

They should still run the warranty. The aftermarket exhausts are made of much better components therefore they aren't having any negative effect on the car.

I need to decide which exhaust now. Would love akra but it's just too expensive.

They would have to prove its an affect and caused the problem , so if you have any hassle getting any unrelated items warranty ask them to put it in writing the reason it has caused the failure .
Most will sort it no problem.
