Usb and android.

Anyone else having issues with android phones and the usb plug? Ive never managed to get mine to connect. Its connected via bluetooth which is fine and does the job but if i want to charge the phone i cant use the radio as its constantly trying to connect. Prefer not to use the lighter socket because of wires floating about the handbrake and gearstick.
 
The USB always worked fine with me but that was when using an iPhone.

I now have an S5, don't gave a USB in the meg but via blue tooth it will spend ages trying to connect.
 
Yea the usb works with a stick. I think it's just gash companies only sorting out Apple. May chop up a lead so it only has power.
